Let’s talk balance for a minute

You know I work out a lot and I work out hard, right?

I mean duh, I talk about it all the time! What I don’t talk about is the importance of balancing the other part of fitness, YOUR HEALTH!

While I drink my @1stphorm #optigreens50 daily to keep up my immune system I still have this terrible habit of running myself into the ground

Much like right now! I’ve gone MONTHS without getting sick and the last few days stress and lack of sleep has gotten me down

I hate rest days. I feel like when I don’t work out I’m not making progress but HELLO JEN your body has to heal and it’s OK to take a breather to recoup

I’ve been on this #weightlossjourney for over a year now, you would think I would know better, right? WRONG

I’ll eventually learn to stretch more, eat/drink more protein and take a damn rest day!

For now, I’m taking a break from #orangetheoryfitness for a few days to let my body heal, recoup my energy and as #coachkiki says, some back better and stronger!

Speaking of health, have you guys tried a juice or smoothie from @juicebarrockhill?! If you haven’t, you’re missing out. Fresh fruit and veggie juices are so good for your health!

Stop by the Juice Bar Rock Hill location and use code JEN15 to get 15% off your order! Who doesn’t like saving money on something good for your health?! 🍏
