I didn’t intend on buying any jeans today, let alone try any on

I went in to try on a pair of @goodamerican leggings that I didn’t end up getting because I didn’t like how the pattern looked on my legs

A woman working there started talking to me about @goodamerican jeans. She told me she too had been on a #weightlossjourney and was raving about the #goodamerican jeans

I told her that I had been avoiding jeans because they are known to run small and I don’t want to buy a size that makes me feel bad about myself

She convinced me to try on a pair of black jeans and I did and in the size I thought I was, didn’t fit. I WAS SO UPSET.

I had a moment of what felt like failure. I’ve been working so god damn hard! Why don’t these fit yet?! I REFUSED to go a size bigger

For shits and grins I tried on another pair in the same size and guess what? THEY. FIT. A little loose at the top even

I almost ruined my whole day because ONE pair didn’t fit me. And I went on to try others and they all fit too

This is the pair I ended up choosing. They even have little cheetah print peekaboo detail on them
