La Trobe is a multi-campus university that is committed to working with partners to create opportunities that are meaningful to the communities that we are situated across. La Trobe has enjoyed a longstanding partnership with the Braves, having sponsored the team for approximately eleven years and are excited to announce an extension to our partnership through to October 2026. This partnership is a great exemplar of the opportunity La Trobe and the Braves have to bring together education, sport, business and community through a variety of workstreams all designed to create impact. We look forward to exploring further opportunities for La Trobe University students through placement, research, and work integrated learning with the Bendigo Braves and Red Energy Arena. Our partnership with the Bendigo Braves celebrates current La Trobe students: Meg McCarthy - Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours), Caitlin Richardson – Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) and Isaac Murphy - Bachelor of Exercise Science all of which are current Braves players. This talented trio will get to play alongside Braves teammates and La Trobe Alumni Jess Mangan, Meg McKay, Poppy Blanch, Liam and Lachlan O’Brien.
