🧠❤️In honor of the last day of Brain Injury Awareness Month & yesterday being my reunion with Brooks Rehabilitation Center. I feel it is important to share a piece of my story & what I learned through the process.  I hope by sharing this someone out there with a head injury or even not can relate to my feelings in some way & also hear what helped me break through them. 

🤕 After my traumatic brain injury I started having feelings I never had before. Prior to the accident I considered myself a pretty happy & positive dude. After the injury for the first time I became super anxious and worried. I would wake up in the middle of the night with fear & I had these ANTS (Automatic Negative Thoughts) in my head that would keep me up & stressed. 😣  I Fu**ing hated this feeling! 

🙋🏻‍♂️ One thing I am proud of about myself is that I am determined. I knew that I was not going to accept this and let these thoughts be my new way of life.
