Canada qualifies one spot in Sunfish for Santiago 2023 Pan American Games, thanks to Luke Ramsawy who took the fourth spot overall at the Sunfish United States National Championshipss at Midwinters which ended today in Florida. Lee Parkhill finished seventh overall.

In terms of countries qualification, Canada took the third and last spot available this week, behind Peru and USA.

The Canadian spot in Sunfish for Santiago 2023 Pan American Games will be awarded to the top Canadian at the 2023 North American Championships, to be held June 8-11 in Springfield, Illinois.

Le Canada a qualifié sa place en Sunfish pour les Jeux panaméricains de Santiago 2023 grâce à Luke Ramsay qui a pris le quatrième rang aux Championnats nationaux des États-Unis en Sunfish à la compétition Midwinters qui se sont terminés aujourd'hui en Floride. Lee Parkhill a terminé au septième rang.

En matière de classement des pays, le Canada a pris la troisième et dernière place disponible cette semaine derrière le Pérou et les États-Unis.

La place canadienne en Sunfish pour les Jeux panaméricains de Santiago 2023 sera attribuée au meilleur Canadien aux Championnats nord-américains de Sunfish 2023 qui auront lieu du 8 au 11 juin à Springfield, en Illinois.
