Tempe kicked off Earth Month AND Arbor Month with a Tree-a-Thon in partnership with SRPConnect, StateFarm, TreesMatterAZ and KeepTempeBeautiful. Volunteers planted 100 trees at Connolly Middle School, Joyce Park, Arredondo Park and two Tempe neighborhoods. Native trees help keep our communities cool and make us more resilient to extreme heat.
