Maddie Conway and Josiah Gartner are your Giordano's High Flyers of the week after spending the week shutting down their opposition

Conway, a junior from Midlothian, Illinois, pitched 19.1 innings across three games, recording a 2-1 record. The ace recorded an ERA of 1.83 and an opponent batting average of just .194 in the circle, allowing just five earned runs. Conway went the distance in a 4-1 win over Carroll on Sunday 🙌

As a hitter, the junior also had an excellent week; Conway went 6-10 at the plate, driving in four runners and recording a slugging % of 1.000

Gartner, a junior goalkeeper from South Elgin, Illinois, helped lead Carthage to two wins in goal. Across both games, Gartner saved 34 shots and allowed only 25 goals - recording a save % of .575 🔥
