throwback to high school cross country season🥹🫶🏼 my whole heart misses this more than anything.

 when dealing with an injury, i feel it’s so easy to forget why you love the sport so much in the first place. when i start to forget and question why i love this sport, i think about this season. i think about how wholesome of an experience it was and specific memories that make my heart so so happy.

this season my goals were simple….happy + healthy! cuz let me tell ya… happy + healthy = good runnin:)

even though i can’t run right now, i’m going to focus on my health and happiness so that i can get that runnin' part back🫶🏼 if you're injured, remember it’s okay to take a step back. focus on things outside of running, and remember that you WILL get back to doing what you love. keep your head up! we are in this together 💘
