After two years at Nc State, I can confidently say I’m a changed man. Not in ways I would’ve expected though. Before the last two years of my life, the root of my happiness was my performance on the field and what others thought about me, always trying to prove people wrong and trying to be the best at the sport I could be. However, as I came to know Christ more clear I realized how wrong I had been this whole time. I wasn’t meant to play this game with the sole purpose of being the best at it. I was meant to show others just how awesome a relationship with Jesus Christ can be through my actions, words, and how I play. There is always someone watching what you do and how you interact with others even in your worst and best moments. So, as I plan to leave Nc State for my future years of football, I am forever grateful for those who helped me grow in my faith and for everyone I came in contact with. Romans 1:16
