During the pandemic, Culture Shock LA had the honor of performing at LACMA to highlight prominent exhibitions - including Pablo Picasso and the dark and somber artworks he created during The Blue Period. Inspired by Picasso’s multiple artistic identities, the genius of DPR Ian, and our own personal complexities, we channeled those energies to create this dance visual. 

Jenny -  Thank you for trusting us and for allowing us to explore personal depths to create art. NS was a creative playground that allowed us explore untapped artistic identities, experiment tons of ideas, and feel vulnerable and safe at the same time. I appreciate you so much for diving into the ocean and into another creative adventure, ma’am. 

Jeff - You are insane bro - a true visionary. I absolutely love working with you and am constantly blown away by how your brain works. The way you’re able to capture emotion and intertwine that with movement, film, and color is so beautiful. AND THE VFX?! pfffft. You already know I’m grateful for you man. Thank you for being so down for art and for bringing this project to life.

Juce - What would we do without you? Thank you for always coming in clutch with the lighting and for always being so damn supportive. None of the shots would have turned out the way it did w/o your presence and creative input! Hella grateful for you!

CSLA - thank you for ALWAYS being a source of inspiration, support, and love.
