I still don’t have all the words needed to describe how much this moment means to me, both as a dancer & as a human. Placing at vibedancecomp has always been a dream, & being able to make it a reality with a set like this with vmodance makes it unbelievable. As much as this set was made to wake people up, it was also just as much for those who have woken up. Those who feel the hopelessness & isolation that comes with speaking up for what you believe in while not letting the state of the world paralyze you into inaction. This love we poured into this was for also for you & we thought about you through this whole process. We reminded ourselves of the hope we had that this set would support those who have been speaking what sometimes feels into the void, we hoped that this set would inspire those people to keep going & to keep fighting for humanity. We need a permanent ceasefire now in Gaza, we need an end to the occupation. We must put an end to white supremacy as we see it & experience it right here in America, & we must not let these use us or our tax dollars to carry out genocide. USE YOUR VOICE. CEASEFIRE NOW.

You all helped bring this set to life, & believed in this message enough to make it happen. You are all so talented, & getting to watch you all step up in the process was an honor. Thank you for helping heal something in me that I have been wanting to release for years. 

To my V Mo members for this set: Thank you for trusting in me, in board & in this message. When we had a talk about the potential negativity we would face by bringing a set like this to a big stage, you all courageously wanted to continue. I will never forget the feeling of our final pose of this set. I hope that in the future when your kids & loved ones ask what side of history you were on, you show them videos of this set or this process to let them know. Thank you all for going on this journey with me 🥹❤️🍉🦁
