new zealand recap 🇳🇿💃🏽💖

still have not fully processed all that went down last week… taking lfgcrew to an international competition in one of my dream countries to visit, meeting wonderful dancers from around the world (shoutout our buddy crew rampagecrews 💖🐨), getting to play house & spend a week with some of the strongest women I know, & leaving everything we had on stage for all 3 rounds..

to the LFG girls, 

thank you all for trusting me in this journey. deciding to bring back LFG competitively was not made lightly, & even in moments where previous versions of myself made it hard for me to feel confident through this week, you all had my back. you had the team’s back. I am so grateful for all the late nights in the living room trying to revamp the set (swipe to see some different versions of our set during our impromptu choreo sessions), us literally calling out “CHANGE” on stage as we performed so we would all remember to not follow muscle memory, how each member had a moment through the week where they got the team TOGETHER, & the amount of love poured both into this set as well as each other.  I am so damn proud of us, & I am so immensely proud of each one of you ♥️ 

i don’t know how much longer i will keep up in the competitive circuit, it seems to just be something I can’t/wont back away from. that feeling of being backstage, hearing the MC call your name & knowing that you put every fiber of your being into prepping for the 2 minutes ahead of you & all that’s left is let the love for what you do carry you through…. there’s nothing like it. 😈💖
