María Zardoya’s debut solo album ‘Melt’ arrived this past October. It’s a reflective, cinematic project made for candlelit evenings and quiet introspection in nature. Now, she’s performing her ‘Winter In The Garden’ tour, bringing an immersive theatrical experience to venues across the country. This past week, she played three nights at Brooklyn’s historic Kings Theatre, where audiences melted into the atmospheric world of @Not for Radio. Moss covered the stage alongside dripping candles; white feathers rained from the ceiling at key moments throughout the night. Dressed in a flowing white gown resembling a swan in human form, María moved through three distinct acts inspired by Tchaikovsky’s classical ballet ‘Swan Lake.’ The setlist included songs from her solo project alongside unreleased tracks like “Comet” (seen in the clip), a haunting rendition of Radiohead’s “Nude,” and the extended version of The Marías’ iconic track, “No One Noticed.” Her band featured producer Sam Evian and string arranger Oliver Hill, who created lush soundscapes to transport the audience into the forest.
