Each World Baseball Classic team is stacked with Major League talent. But which team has the strongest roster?

I think it’s the team from the Dominican Republic is one of the strongest rosters going into this year’s World Baseball Classic!

Their roster reads like a who’s who of All-Star MLB talent. Highlighting the lineup are Manny Machado, Juan Soto, Vladimir Guerrero Jr, and Rafael Devers, among others. In fact, only 2 players on the Dominican Republic roster are not signed to an MLB team because they are current free agents.

In addition to their all-star lineup, the Dominican Republic roster is motivated by playing in every edition of the World Baseball Classic. The team won the title in 2013. But their last time out, in 2017, they lost early in the second round. This early loss may provide the extra motivation this talented Dominican Team needs to become this year’s World Baseball Classic champions.
