The new @dewalttough DCV585 60V FlexVolt TStak Dust Extractor is one seriously nice tool.

I’ve been testing it for the last couple weeks and am very happy with its performance. The Wireless Tool Control (RF) remote is larger than I’d hoped but works well from a long ways away (not that you really need to with the 8’ hose). The hose wraps nicely around the unit, and the airlock connector is great for dewalt tools/accessories and can be used with adapters as well.

It has more suction power than any other cordless dust extractor out there and is the only one that is OSHA Table 1 compliant for 5in grinders with the auto clean dual HEPA filters and 125cm

I was able to get ~30min of runtime out of a DCB612 4.0/12.0 battery and ran the test twice to be sure. It was run continuously in one and with a long break in another and both times lasted about the same. It did lose a fair amount of suction within the last few min of runtime.

I purchased the bare tool which includes the unit, hose, filters, and 1 fleece bag. A huge oversight in my opinion is not including a 35mm tool adapter. My corded vac came with one and it’s less than $10 and 100% should have been included. Otherwise for me the price of $349 bare is reasonable considering what you get.

The ability to roll the vac around on the dolly and stack with my tools like the grinder box I have in the picture is really what sets this apart. No messing with a cord, just show up, set up and go! #Dewalt really nailed it on this one it’s one seriously amazing dust collector!
