Fondue Pockets (Pain Hot Fondue)

🧀 INGREDIENTS:1 large clove of garlic. 1 cup dry white wine. ⅔ lb Emmental cheese, cut in small cubes or shredded. ⅔ lb Gruyere cheese, cut in small cubes or shredded. Juice of half a lemon. 
1 tbsp flour. ¼ cup kirsch.
Pinch of nutmeg and a pinch of pepper (optional).
2 small baguettes cut in half.

🧀 INSTRUCTIONS:Hollow out the inside of each baguette with a fork to form your “pocket”.Warm the baguettes in a 300° oven for 3-5 minutes. 
Rub the clove of garlic vigorously on the inside of a saucepan or fondue pot. Add the wine. Place the pot on medium high heat. Bring wine to a boil. Turn the heat down to medium low and then add the cheese and lemon juice. Heat until the cheese is melted, stirring slowly and continuously to prevent lumps from forming.Dissolve the flour in the kirsch and add the mixture to the cheese. Season with nutmeg and pepper. Stir continuously until the fondue is smooth. Pour fondue into warm hollowed out french bread pockets. Enjoy!
