A year ago my life changed in a way I had only ever heard about. The kind of love that rearranges your heart. What a joy it is to be his “Gucci.”

Sweet Palmer, on your first birthday I speak this truth over your life: you were created on purpose and for a purpose. May you always know how deeply loved you are — by God, by your parents, your aunts, uncles, great grandparents and grandparents.
