I lost count of how many times I’ve been called a horse, look like a man or been told I have too many muscles. 

I remember in high school and college, I would go through magazines and cut out images of women who looked strong and had muscles. I would cut out positive and encouraging phrases that would motivate me. To go to the gym, to try new activities, running, lifting weights, outrigger paddle boarding, surfing. 

We should be uplifting others and encouraging one another to better themselves. No matter what. Find a community and environment that supports and uplifts you. If you’re in the Knoxville, come by besomebodygym and join our community 🤍
