Yesterday reminded us how powerful simple human kindness can be. After a young girl watched her mother fall and saw medical professionals rush in to help, she was left feeling scared and alone in a moment no child should have to face.

Two women—complete strangers—stepped in without hesitation. They knelt beside her, offered comfort, reassurance, and the warmth she desperately needed. They didn’t know her story, but they knew she needed compassion. And they showed up with exactly that.

To those two incredible women: thank you. Your kindness wrapped around that little girl like a hug when her world felt overwhelming. You reminded all of us that love doesn’t require permission, and compassion doesn’t wait for the perfect moment.
