Today we proudly recognize Mr. John H. Rather, a valued member of The Office Cigar Lounge, on his retirement after 48 years of dedicated service to the United States Army and the Engineer Regiment.

Enlisting in 1978, John served with distinction as a 12B Combat Engineer, holding numerous leadership roles throughout his career. A graduate of the Sergeants Major Academy and proud Sapper Tab recipient, his career reflects true leadership, honor, and commitment.

It was an honor for us to be guests at this incredible ceremony. A heartfelt congratulations from The Office Cigar Lounge and all of your friends here—and now you’ll finally have a lot more time to spend at The Office, smoking great cigars and sharing legendary stories. Thank you for your service. 🇺🇸
