NASA is sending its 31st SpaceX commercial resupply mission to the International Space Station. The Dragon cargo spacecraft will carry several science treats for astronauts to conduct aboard space station.
 
☀️ Using a coronagraph, CODEX will help scientists generate a comprehensive dataset to validate theories about what heats solar winds. Understanding solar winds could improve space-weather forecasts that can disrupt satellites, communications, and power grids.

🌿 Antarctic moss has the highest radiation tolerance of any plant on the planet. ARTEMOSS studies moss samples from Antarctica to examine how they regulate cosmic radiation in a microgravity environment.

🧱 ESA is sending materials experiments as a part of Euro Material Ageing. Various manmade and organic materials will be exposed to ultraviolet radiation outside station for several months to test their stability and degradation.

👨‍🏭 Spacecraft can be battered by micrometeoroids and space debris traveling at high speeds. Astrobeat tests cold welding in microgravity as a potential solution to patch spacecraft from the inside.
