10 years ago today, I was living with my brother, nathanledesma, in Chicago for the summer before beginning my freshman year MarquetteU.

My father, texasrebelrob, had gifted my first DSLR as a high school graduation gift. That canonusa EOS Rebel T1i changed my life.

I immediately enrolled in a class at the #ChicagoPhotographyAcademy to learn the basics and began exploring the streets of #Chicago.

I spent those first few weeks walking around the #WindyCity,  asking random people if I could take their portrait.
