Did you know the Superstition Mountain Museum in Apache Junction houses famous relics from the Apacheland Movie Ranch, a piece of Hollywood history? 🎬

Built in 1959 by Nat Winecoff, who previously worked with Walt Disney, Apacheland opened in 1960 as an expansive 1,800-acre movie set near Gold Canyon. 🎥

Over the years, it witnessed the filming of iconic productions like the Elvis Presley movie "Charro!" and "Death Valley Days." Despite a fire in 1969 that destroyed most buildings, Apacheland rebuilt and continued its movie-set legacy until a devastating fire in 2004 marked the end of that era. 🏜️

Specializing in Western movies and TV shows, Apacheland hosted legendary actors such as Jack Nicholson, Steve McQueen, Richard Boone, Jason Robards, Stella Stevens, and others. 🤠

Today, the legacy lives on at the Superstition Mountain Museum at 4087 N. Apache Trail, where you can explore the sets and Western relics.
