It’s not very often you see a turquoise lake on the east coast of Canada. This unique lake is absolutely stunning in the fall, and is one of our personal favourite fall hikes in Canada. This unique hiking trail is called PInk Lake Trail and is located in Gainteau Park in Quebec, about 15 minutes from downtown Ottawa!

PINK LAKE TRAIL TIPS:

🍂To get to Pink Lake Trail, you can drive, taxi, or take the Shuttle to the King Mackenzie Estate parking lot. Once you’re at that car lot you take a shuttle to the entrance of Pink Lake Trail. ❗️Important note: you might see a closer parking lot of Google Maps but cars are not allowed at the Pink Lake trail head parking lot until after 12pm to reduce traffic and over crowding.

🍂The Pink Lake Trail takes about 1.5 hours to complete the full loop around the lake and is rated easy.

🍂If visiting from out of town, we suggest staying in Ottawa and explore everything else the city has to offer in the fall!

🍂 This popular hike can get busy on weekends so we suggest visiting off peak hours or on weekday’s.

Let us know if you have any questions about this hike in the comments!
