It’s not a helicopter, not a plane — it’s a lightweight flying machine that combines the freedom of open-air flight with the thrill of low-altitude cruising. Essentially there is no roof and no doors! 

I had never heard of a Gyrocopter until visiting the Guadeloupe Islands. Seeing how unique are rare a gyrocopter tour is, I  jumped at the chance to take a flight, and it did not disappoint!  It’s quite possibly the most epic (and adrenaline pumping) way you can see the guadeloupeislands! 🌴🌊

Here’s what to expect when flying a Gyrocopter with ulm.caraibes caraibes

🚁 There’s an open cockpit so you will feel the wind on your face and the sun on your skin. 
🚁 It’s just you and the pilot! Only room for 2 on this flight.
🚁 No windows = unobstructed shots of paradise 📸. You can bring your phone on the flight but it will be strapped onto a long string for safety. 
🚁 Not a “quick ride” - flights can range from 20-40 minutes or longer depending on your route
