Some tips to get the most out of your Intrepid Travel group trip to Peru:

✔️Add on the 1-day Inca Trail Hike when visiting Machupicchu.
✔️Add on either Rainbow Mountain or Humantay Lake Hike. 
✔️Get your rest! There are a lot of early days so prioritize sleep when you can.
✔️When you arrive in Cusco, if you have some free time, I recommend planning in advance a nearby activity (i.e. I did an alpaca hike in Chinchero). 
✔️Take it easy in Cusco with the elevation gains.
✔️Don’t forget your sunscreen, bug spray and lots of layers for the varying weather conditions.
