Meet C1C Jonas “Grubbie” Grubb from Anaheim, California!
 
A 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫 and 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐞, Grubbie came to #USAFA as the first in his family to attend the Academy, carrying forward a strong legacy of military service from his grandparents. 🇺🇸
 
He is pursuing a career as a usairforce pilot, driven by a desire to fly while serving something greater than himself. ✈️
 
𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲:
🪖 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐂𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐭 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: Grew as a leader and mentor by working in demanding training environments
⚽ 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐫: Led from the back as a defender, contributing to two championships through teamwork and discipline
🥾 𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐬: Built camaraderie, encouragement and lasting friendships through shared time in the mountains
 
Surrounded daily by officers and enlisted members, Grubbie is exposed to real-world experiences that prepare him to lead through future challenges.
