## Caption

Claiming a title and being and expert are not the same. And when asked about your credentials, you should be able to withstand the heat.

Meeting people “associated with a sport” isn’t what gives me credibility.

My experience does. Years inside leagues. Years advising brands. Years watching what works, what fails, and why.

You don’t have to agree with me.

But questioning expertise without understanding the résumé is lazy. So is claiming credentials with no experience to back it up.

Google is free. So is listening.
