Josh Hubbard scored 30 points, and Achor Achor pulled down a season-high 14 rebounds as Mississippi State outlasted Oklahoma 72–53 on Wednesday, extending the Bulldogs’ winning streak to six games.

Hubbard, who entered the game averaging 22.5 points per game, shot 11-for-22 from the field and 7-for-9 from the free-throw line, marking his third 30-point performance of the season and second straight. Quincy Ballard and Ja’Borri McGhee added 10 points each, while Jamarion Davis-Fleming grabbed 10 rebounds to complement Achor’s double-double.

The first half was tightly contested, with both teams heading into the locker room tied at 27. Mississippi State broke the game open in the second half with a 14-1 run and sealed the win with a 12-4 closing spurt.

Shooting was a struggle for both teams. The Bulldogs hit 42% from the field and just 13% from three-point range, while Oklahoma managed 31% overall and 15% from long range. The Sooners saw their five-game winning streak come to an end, with Xzayvier Brown and Tae Davis scoring 13 points each and Derrion Reed and Nijel Pack adding 11 apiece.
