Seoul (seoulcity) just gave the green light for BTS (bts.bighitofficial)’s Gwanghwamun comeback show this March 💜

That means—on March 21, BTS will hit the stage at Gwanghwamun Square for their first full-group performance in 3 years and 9 months 🥹 (yeah… we’re emotional too)

It’s a conditional approval, though. Before it’s fully locked in, the safety management plan still has to pass review. With massive crowds expected, things like crowd control,
avoiding overlap when artists and fans exit, and minimizing traffic issues all need to be carefully handled.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government also said they’ll work closely with police and local authorities to make sure fan safety comes first—especially with huge crowds expected across the city.

They’re even planning advance inspections on hotels and pricing to prevent unfair rate hikes, so both locals and international fans visiting Seoul can enjoy the show without stress.

서울시는 공연 당일, 광화문광장을 포함한 도심 전반에 대규모 인파가 몰릴 것으로 보고 경찰·종로구 등 관계 기관과 긴밀히 협력해 관람객 안전을 최우선으로 확보할 계획이라고 밝혔습니다.

또한 숙박업소 요금 인상 등 불공정 행위에 대한 사전 현장 점검도 함께 실시해, 시민은 물론 공연을 보기 위해 서울을 찾는 외국인 관광객들의 불편을 최소화하겠다는 방침입니다.
