#TSRCoinz: #TrinityRodman is officially making history. The Washington Spirit announced Thursday that the 22-year-old soccer star has signed a new three-year contract with the club. This deal will reportedly pay her more than $2 million annually, including bonuses.

According to @ESPN, the agreement makes Rodman the highest-paid player in National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) history! “It feels amazing. I’m very happy. I’m very blessed,” Rodman said following the signing. “I think it’s a monumental and game-changing moment right now. I can’t even describe in words what it feels like.”

Rodman acknowledged that the historic contract will spark conversation, but made it clear that outside opinions won’t distract her from the bigger picture. “Obviously, everyone’s going to have their different thoughts and opinions about it, but I’ve never really cared,” she said. “So that doesn’t change anything for me.”_____________________________
