Martin Short casually admitting he almost destroyed Selena Gomez’s wedding cake is the most Martin Short story imaginable. 🍰😂

On ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!,’ the actor revealed he fully thought there were multiple cakes at the reception — grabbed a fork, sliced right in to get a piece for Steve Martin, and only realized his mistake when everyone screamed “Marty!” Turns out, it was ✨the✨ cake. 😳

“I tried to fix it with a fork,” he said, adding that the chef later had to do “surgery” before it was presented. Miraculously, the cake made it out looking picture-perfect,  just with a little Hollywood touch-up.
