In January 1982, Bill Koch won America’s first cross-country skiing World Cup medal in Vallée de Joux, Switzerland. He also won America’s first Olympic medal in the sport.

Fast forward to January 2020. Bill’s son Will Koch just won one of America’s first two Youth Olympic cross-country ski medals (along with @kendurr ) in Vallée de Joux, Switzerland.
