We’re thrilled to announce the winners of the 2026 Tempe Blooms Floral Installation Competition 🌸

With dozens of breathtaking installations across Downtown Tempe, our jurors had the challenging task of selecting standout designs. Each installation was evaluated on application of fresh product, application of plant material, quality of construction, mechanics, use of color, unity of the floral design and site chosen, selection of materials, use of design principles, overall visual appeal, and originality. For the first time ever, attendees also helped select a favorite through our People’s Choice Award.

🏆 1st Place: Amazing Flowers
This installation, 'Weathering The Storm', represented navigating the chaos of life through grace and resilience. Twisting natural elements and vibrant blooms created a strong sense of movement and emotion, capturing the experience of finding strength through change.

🏆 2nd Place: Madelyn Henderson & Hannah Miles
Inspired by high hopes and heads in the clouds, this dream-like installation featured a floral hot air balloon inspired by airmail. Letters addressed to Downtown Tempe merchants spilled from the basket as part of the visual theme, while attendees were invited to write their own notes and place them into a nearby mailbox.

🏆 3rd Place: Casas Adobes Floral
Inspired by the harmony of the hive, this installation celebrated the connection between bees, flowers, and the natural world — a reminder of the beauty and balance these small creatures bring to life.

🏆 People’s Choice Award: KC’s Floral Designs & Campo Verde FFA
Rooted in agriculture, this installation honored farmers and ranchers through earth-toned florals and natural materials, reflecting a way of life that sustains us all and pays tribute to the land and its heritage.
