We're more than halfway through the January run of our 3-week Bike Basics class and students have learned so much!

The RAR cohort (a gender equity collab with rar.champlainvalley) is pictured here learning how to fix a flat tire and how to adjust their brakes. 

These classes are a mixture of instruction and hands-on time. Our teachers explain concepts with example bikes and components, demonstrate maintenance/adjustment techniques, and then students can practice on their own bikes with teacher guidance!
