Olympic freestyle skier Gus Kenworthy made a pitch to appear in ‘Heated Rivalry’ in a 25 January interview with The New Yorker, highlighting the skills he has that would make him a perfect addition to the cast.

When the interviewer mentioned that ‘Heated Rivalry’ Season 2 would begin production soon, Kenworthy— who is an out gay athlete— sold himself to anyone on production that could be looking to fill a role. “You know, I played hockey through high school. I can skate, and I know how to handle a stick,” he said.
