## Caption

A group of pennstate students embarked on a whirlwind two-week journey to Spain and Italy in May as part of the SPAN/IT/PORT 210N: Multilingual and Intercultural Communication embedded program. They explored Spain’s diverse Basque region in Bilbao and San Sebastián, then ventured to the beautiful Italian cities of Prato, Florence, Bologna, and Lucca. 🇪🇸🇮🇹🏛️🌍
 
Led by associate teaching professor of Spanish Lauren Halberstadt and teaching professor of Spanish Joseph Bauman, the psu_liberalartsnetwork program focused on communication strategies for succeeding in multilingual situations and new cultural environments. It also offered students the chance to bring their classroom learning to life through firsthand cultural immersion! ✈️🗣️
