Recently our Adult Somali Language Running Group (which initially started with just walking) finished their 10:10:10 challenge they created for themselves this summer. The goal was to complete a full 10 mile or 10K run by Oct 10th. None of these individuals considered themselves runners before joining the program, but everyone reached their goal and should definitely see themselves as runners now!

Our Cedar Riverside Senior Citizens Women’s Fitness Program has also helped the older members of the community with their flexibility, mobility, strength, and balance in their day-to-day lives.
