Saturday:
Big day at the @americanbirkebeiner 45K Skate Ski today for the Loppet Nordic Racing High Performance Team! Though the field was limited by COVID-19 restrictions this year, it was still a super competitive field! Caitlin Gregg placed 3rd, Renae Anderson 6th and Abby Drach 8th! On the men's side, Brian Gregg was 7th and Tony Mathie 30th. LNR alums Ian Torchia placed 5th, Hannah Rudd 9th, and Ingrid Thyr 17th.

Sunday:
Another big day at the @americanbirkebeiner Classic Ski 45K for the Loppet Nordic Racing (LNR) High Performance Team! Brian Gregg and Caitlin Compton Gregg doubled up on Birkie events - racing the classic today after great results in yesterday's 45km skate. Both took home 4th place finishes in the most competitive Classic Birkie ever. LNR alum Ian Torchia won today’s event by a lead of over 7 minutes! Rosie Frankowski (LNR alum & Mpls Southwest High School alum) earned the victory in the women’s category, switching spots with Alayna Sonnesyn who won yesterdays' skate event. It was a unique Birkie experience with heavy snow falling the entire race, dropping 7 inches in 3 hours!

Congrats to all Loppet athletes who raced this weekend in Cable and Virtually!
