C’est sur cette réalité que s’arrête Erige Sehiri dans Promis le ciel, son troisième long métrage, film d’ouverture d’Un Certain Regard à #Cannes2025.
À Tunis, trois immigrées subsahariennes recueillent une fillette rescapée d’un naufrage. Leur refuge devient une famille recomposée, tendre mais aux aguets, dans un pays où le climat social est de plus en plus préoccupant.
Porté notamment par Aïssa Maïga et la révélation Debora Lobe Naney, Promis le ciel est une fresque politique sensible et nécessaire, qui touche au cœur.
