ad From 1950s wedding gift to DIY dream cupboard 💛✨
I found this beautiful mid-century kitchen unit and instantly knew it had potential—but when boschhomeuk kindly sent me their new Unlimited 10 vacuum, I realised it could become something even more special: the cleaning cupboard of dreams.
Originally a 1950s wedding gift, the piece had been with the same owner for over 70 years. I wanted to preserve its history while giving it new purpose. After some sanding, tiling, and a few tweaks, it now features a jewel-box interior with art deco tiles, labelled jars (living the organised life?), and a perfect nook for the Unlimited 10. It’s lightweight, powerful (especially in turbo), and even hangs away neatly—ideal for cleaning up my constant DIY mess.
