ad I Faked Marble And You Can’t Tell...! 🤫😆❤️
This “budget posh” coffee table started life as a simple MDF frame, clad with reeded panels from naturewall They’re super easy to cut and perfect for cladding furniture, instantly adding that classy textured look without the faff.
🎨 Then came the faux-marbling — watered-down acrylic feathered over a glossy base, layered up and sealed with lacquer for a finish that looks (and feels) convincingly marble.
The result? A fluted marble coffee table vibe, without the marble price tag.
Now… do I keep it classy with a portrait above the fire or go full Titanic and attempt the clock?
