Hip Love 2026 🧰

Wonder why your hips feel stiff?

It’s not because you need more stretching..it’s because you’re not training them the way they’re designed to work. Hips aren’t one-direction joints. They need strength in flexion, extension, rotation, adduction, and abduction to move well and stay pain-free. When you only train one or two functions, the others fall behind..and that’s when stiffness, compensation, and nagging pain show up. Train your hips through full ranges, load them progressively, and build strength in every plane. Strong hips move freely. Weak, undertrained hips feel “tight.”

✅ Focus on:

1. Strengthen through full ranges
- Train and control the end ranges, not partial reps
- Load only what you can own start to finish

2. Progressively overload movements
- Progress load, reps, tempo, or range with intent
- Technique stays clean or the set doesn’t count

3. Strengthen the stabilizers (adductors)
- Load them under control, not just mobility work
- Weak adductors leak force and compromise hip stability

4. Build your glutes from all angles
-Train more than just hip extension
- Glutes must stabilize and rotate, not only drive weight

5. Train hips in all three planes
- Sagittal builds power, frontal builds control, transverse builds resilience
- Multi-planar strength = hips that handle real-world forces
