SHELTER-IN-PLACE UPDATE – CITY OF SOUTH EL MONTE

Per the Los Angeles County Fire Department (L.A. County Fire PIO), additional shelter-in-place zones have been issued for the Tyler IC due to a building fire. The situation will be assessed hourly, and updates will be provided as changes occur.

Affected Area:
• South of the 10 Freeway
• North and east of the 605 Freeway
• West of Santa Anita Avenue
• Including areas near Garvey Avenue and Potrero Avenue

Shelter-in-Place Instructions:
• Remain indoors
• Close all doors and windows
• Limit outdoor activities
• Shut off all HVAC systems
