Getting the shot is step one. Building a fast halftime workflow is step two.

The real work in sports content isn’t just filming the play — it’s getting it out while it’s still fresh.

Here’s how I turn a basketball highlight into a halftime Instagram clip in minutes:

1️⃣ Find the play fast
I double–black-frame the best moments from the first half so I can locate them instantly.

2️⃣ Announcer audio embedded in-camera
Live broadcast audio recorded directly into the Sony FX3 — no syncing in post.

3️⃣ Timeline prepped ahead of time
My Premiere Pro sequence already has an adjustment layer with a LUT applied.

4️⃣ Build the highlight
Three clips combined into one clean basketball highlight.

5️⃣ Export + AirDrop
From camera to phone and posted before the second half starts.

The 360 camera angle shows the full halftime editing workflow — fast decisions, clean cuts, no wasted steps.

What part of the halftime workflow do you want to see broken down next?
