UCC had two men sent off as UL emerged 0-20 to 0-12 winners. Darragh McCarthy hit 0-9 of their total on the night in a bruising battle which was a lot closer for much of the contest than the final score would suggest.

Galway had seven points to spare in Dangan against SETU Waterford with Darragh Neary's late goal capping a strong performance. 

miclimerick_sport blitzed UCD on a tough day for the Belfield college, hitting, outclassing them 3-22 to 0-14. Limerick ace Oisín O’Farrell continued his goalscoring streak with 2-3 of the tally as they turned a seven point half time lead into an 18 point win.

dcu_dochas_eireann are the other member of the fab four as last year's finalists made it back to the semi-finals with an impressive 4-13 to 2-15 win down in Cork over MTU Cork.
