A historic moment for Canadian hip-hop! 🇨🇦🎤

Maestro Fresh Wes, Michie Mee, and Quebec trio Muzion have been immortalized on Canada Post stamps in honour of Black History Month — the first-ever stamps celebrating hip-hop artists in the country. 

Maestro Fresh Wes hugged his dad and shared his speech on Instagram Stories via producer Warren, while Michie Mee teared up saying it “means so much to my family,” and Muzion member Stanley Rimsky Salgado called it the ultimate acknowledgment of hip-hop as “the greatest national treasure that we have.”

Designed by Noël Nanton and Nadia Molinari, the stamps feature metallic portraits with fluorescent inks that glow under black light.
