Buying our first home in New Orleans was the best decision ever, but the cost of insurance was one of the most eye-opening parts of the process. As extreme weather becomes more frequent, the cost of living in the place we love is rising. For many families, that reality is forcing hard decisions about staying, buying, or even being able to afford protection at all. This isn’t an abstract, future problem. It’s happening in neighborhoods like ours, right now. If we care about the places we call home, this is a conversation worth having.💙 #ClimatePowerPartner @Climate Power @Ben Mount
