The 2009-10 Aztecs earned an 11-seed in the NCAA Tournament and went on to beat the 6 seed Texas in their own building in the first round before knocking out West Virginia, the No. 10 team in the country, in the second round to advance to the first Sweet 16 in program history! 

Jené Morris, who would be selected 11th overall in the WNBA Draft after the season, averaged 29.5 points in SDSU’s two wins.

We will celebrate the 16th anniversary of the 09-10 team’s run to the Sweet 16 this Saturday! Kids are free!
