Our cadets designed and constructed a competition canoe using a custom concrete mix and mold, applying months of classroom instruction, testing and planning under real-world time and quality constraints.
 
📅 The concrete pour marks a critical milestone in preparation for the ASCE Regional Concrete Canoe Competition this April at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
 
The project reinforces essential engineering and leadership skills, including:
